About
I'm a hobbyist photographer. I shoot both film (35mm and 120) and mirrorless digital. I'm not a professional, and I don't really try to be. I've just found a way of photographing that feels natural to me. This is mostly for myself, not for an audience.
Most of what I shoot is street photography. Small, everyday moments. Things that feel like brief windows into someone else's life. A gesture, an interaction, something slightly off or quietly interesting. I'm not chasing perfect frames. I'm more drawn to whatever story might be hiding in the moment.
I also shoot landscapes, buildings, and the occasional animal. I tend to photograph more when I'm traveling. Where I live, inspiration doesn't always come easily, and I don't always see things with fresh eyes. I try, though.
I don't have a fixed style or a consistent color palette. I rarely edit my photos, though sometimes I do. There isn't a look I'm aiming for. I usually just go with what feels right for that image, at that time.
Equipment
My main camera is a Fujifilm X-T30 that I usually carry with a prime lens. I like to walk up or step back to frame a shot rather than using a zoom. I find it more intimate and there are fewer variables to worry about.
On the film side, I shoot on a Rolleicord Va, a medium format 120 camera that I really enjoy using. I also have a Yashica rangefinder, a 35mm camera with a really good lens. And a Rollei 35, a tiny camera that might be the second smallest 35mm camera ever made.
